Scooter Safety Training

We are always looking for opportunities for the boys to develop the understanding of how to stay safe when out and about.

We were, therefore, delighted to welcome Keith Filby, the Road Safety and Smarter Travel Officer from Merton Road Safety Department who came to speak to the boys about scooter safety.

The boys were reminded of the need for their scooter to be in good working order and they were encouraged to wear a helmet gloves and knee pads when riding their scooter. Keith also reminded the boys about staying close to an adult and looking out for hazards.

The boys were very interested in talking about riding their scooters and bikes in a safe way and were able to talk about what they had learnt on their return to class.
