Look Out Trip

On Monday 23rd June, Year 1 visited The Look Out Discovery Centre in Bracknell. We arrived by coach to a beautiful forest setting where the boys happily ate their snacks at the outdoor picnic area.

We then visited the Interactive Science Zones which provided the boys with an opportunity to learn new concepts and develop their Science skills. Everyone was very excited to investigate the various areas including a Construction Zone, a Water Zone and a Light and Colour Zone. The hands-on exhibits kept the boys busy and the teachers happy.

After all that investigating, the boys were ready for their lunch outside in the sunshine, underneath the trees. There was not much time to rest, as there was a fantastic adventure play area to explore and some serious shopping to be done. The highlight of the day was a wonderful lesson from the teachers at The Look Out, who taught the boys some fascinating facts about Bugs and Beasties. With this improved knowledge they were confidently able to sweep their nets outside to find out which bugs live in the forest.

Thank you to all our parent volunteers who looked after the boys so well and helped them to enjoy a lovely day.
