Trip to Wisley
We arrived at Wisley just before 10am, leaving just enough time to have a much needed snack as fuel for the morning.
The boys had a wonderful time in the learning centre, finding out about the life cycle of the butterfly and rainforest plants. They had an opportunity to make a hat (showing the butterfly life cycle) and play a game, matching different plant scents. The boys were fantastic at answering questions and volunteering their own knowledge about Rainforests. There was great excitement when they discovered that they would use plant cuttings and soil to make their own pot plant.
We visited the Glasshouse, where they were very well behaved, observing butterflies flitting around the different vegetation. Considering the inclement weather, the trip was a great success. We could not have done it without our amazing parent helpers.
