On the last day of the spring term, Year 1 enthusiastically led the school in their Easter celebrations.
In addition to celebrating the Christian festival of Easter, the presentation focussed on celebrating the arrival of spring and signs of new life in nature.
The boys raised the roof with exuberant renditions of ‘Sing out an Easter Song’ and ‘A Tiny seed’. They also treated the school to a wonderful performance of ‘L’Arc en Ciel’ a new French song introduced to the boys by Madame Wilson and Mr Appleby. Each class performed their own poem and the boys also enjoyed showing the audience their spring and Easter inspired art. Much excitement and enthusiasm surrounded the boys, as they were all asked to make an Easter hat for the occasion. They looked fabulous!
Thank you to all the parents who came to support the assembly.
Well done to all the Year 1 boys for their fantastic contributions to the presentation, and to the Reception boys, Year 2 boys and our wonderful parents for being such an enthusiastic audience!
