Headteacher's Message

As Head Teacher it is a pleasure to be able to acknowledge that all the effort, commitment and hard work by pupils, staff and parents has paid off as excellent results were obtained by the Year 2 boys with their applications for future schools.

In total the boys received 126 offers between them. Not only Kings' but many other leading prep schools with outstanding reputations will be welcoming boys from Squirrels this autumn as the boys begin the next stage of their academic journey.

It is so very encouraging for staff to see the boys in their charge developing and fulfilling their potential in such a splendid fashion. Such wonderful results are not achieved overnight but rather reflect the efforts by the school and our Governing Body to improve the premises, enhance staff and expand activities over a period of many years. This would not be possible without the efforts of us all including the Friends of Squirrels and other parental contributions which are so vital in improving both the facilities and the environment of WCPS.

Whilst WCPS wish to acknowledge and celebrate the success of the boys, complacency must be avoided and every effort will be made to ensure the continued development of WCPS. Thank you for your continuing unstinting support of our school.

Please enjoy our Newsletter articles and have a wonderful Easter holiday.

With Best Wishes

Tracey Buck
