Year 1 Easter Assembly

On the last day of the spring term, Year 1 enthusiastically led the school in their Easter celebrations. In addition to celebrating the Christian festival of Easter, the presentation focussed on celebrating the arrival of spring and signs of new life in nature.

The boys raised the roof with exuberant renditions of ‘Sing out an Easter Song’ and ‘Spring Chicken’. They also treated the school to a wonderful performance of ‘Un, Deux, Trois, Petit Lapin’s’ a new French song introduced to the boys by Madame Wilson. The boys also enjoyed showing the audience their spring and Easter inspired art. A special thank you must go to Reverend Crossley who joined us in our celebrations and led the prayer. Thank you to all the parents who came to support the assembly.

Well done to all the Year 1 boys for their fantastic contributions to the presentation, and to Reception and Year 2 for being such an enthusiastic audience!
