Safari Adventures

In March we celebrated World Book Day with a whole week of exciting Safari themed activities.

The Safari Adventures Dress-Up Day raised £151 for Book Aid International and our boys are enjoying new books at home and in school following the Great Book Swap.

We were very lucky to have the exceptionally talented author and illustrator, Paul Geraghty, visit WCPS.  He created a great buzz of excitement about books and artwork in each year group through his lively and inspiring workshops.  Our grateful thanks go to the Friends of Squirrels Committee for funding this very special event.

Congratulations to the winners of the Safari Story Competition, judged by the Student Council. These astute judges were enormously impressed by the quality of the artwork, the stories … and the jokes!
