FoS Spring 2015

Thank you to everyone who came along to the wine tasting evening - a really fun evening of wines from around the world, raising funds for the Royal Marsden Hospital.

This term we have been pleased to provide funding for Science Day and the author Simon Murray’s Icky Dicky Doo Dah workshops. The Year 2 boys really enjoyed their Great Fire of London workshop, learning what it was like during the 1600’s; and during the summer term the Y1 boys will be able to look forward to an exciting seaside workshop. We have donated 6 TTS cameras for Y1 and Y2, and 3 Vtech cameras and programmable remote control cars for the Reception boys. Look out for some new play equipment in the Orchard Garden in the summer too...

We are all looking forward to next term’s Summer Fair on Saturday 13th June - please save the date for a Wild West Adventure! In addition to enjoying a day of fun, we aim to celebrate the wonderful achievements of our boys. There will be plenty of activities, great food, art exhibition, competitions, lively entertainment and much more.

Friends of Squirrels depends on the support and generosity of parents to ensure our events and fundraising are successful and we would like to thank all parents who have attended and participated this term for their help. We also rely on the tireless efforts of the committee and class reps to arrange and run the events and in this respect we are always keen to meet any new parent who might wish to become involved with our activities. If you are interested in joining the Friends of Squirrels please do contact us on fos.chair@gmail.com

Wishing you all a very happy Easter break!
