1C Assembly - Remembrance Day

I was so impressed with how the boys remembered their words and sang so beautifully.

They spoke really clearly and projected their voices with confidence.  We all learnt some interesting facts about the wars, the people who fought and those that supported them.  The boys all loved dressing up for the assembly.  We had some fabulous outfits: retro officer uniforms, camouflage fatigues and of course the land girls.  They certainly looked the part with their wellies and their dungarees.  A huge thank you for the effort put in at home to learn a complicated poem and poignant song about the meaning of the poppy.  Well done boys!!
