Autumn Music

The boys have worked very hard this term and in particular on songs for special occasions such as Harvest and Remembrance, eventually culminating in lovely assemblies by Reception on 6th October, and 1C on 10th November.

One of the highlights was an assembly by Oak class on 1st November to celebrate Diwali, in which the school sang the Indian National Anthem in Hindi, which, by some coincidence we had been working on over the previous few weeks.  These boys take foreign languages so easily in their stride!

Latterly we have been preparing for Christmas and the Carol Service in the last week of term.  This will be led by Year Two, supported by Year One and Reception; the youngest of which have progressed distinctly with their singing during their first term.  Congratulations to all the boys for their hard work and lovely music making during the term.
