Headteacher's Message

I would like to begin by thanking you all, the FOS committee, the staff, and boys for their hard work over the term.

We are almost at the end of another busy term. There never seems to be a time without changes and developments in our school and at WCPS we work hard to respond for the benefit of our boys.

The boys have done their very best but this term we decided to put you to the test and ask you to come to school too! Our reading and maths workshops were enjoyable and successful with Orchard hall packed full of willing learners. We hope now to invite you back for more in the coming terms.

We are well and truly on the way to Christmas, the carol singing and the glitter are out and the final tweaks to festivities are being planned. It is wonderful to remember the meaning of Christmas and enjoy the celebrations as a whole school. Our carol service was magnificent and I am always so proud that the boys achieve such a high standard of performance in such a wonderful setting.

Enjoy the following pages as they are evidence of our successes this term. I send my warmest wishes for the festive season and look forward to seeing you all at the beginning of the spring term 2014.

Mrs Buck
