Our school aims to provide boys with the opportunity to experience and achieve success and satisfaction in PE & Games. In doing so, the boys develop skills and understanding that will lead to a life-long enjoyment of and interest in sport and physical activity.

The boys participate in a wide range of sports including football, tag rugby, cricket, tennis, hockey, swimming, gymnastics and athletics, as well as a variety of related sporting activities. Proficiency award schemes are followed in gymnastics, cricket and swimming.

All boys have the opportunity to represent 'Squirrels' in a number of sports, with football, tag rugby and cricket matches played against other schools. Senior boys attend local football and cricket tournaments. We also host our own events, with an annual football tournament and sports day.

There are a number of before and after school sports clubs that take place on a regular basis. We run a morning sports club, after school multi-sports clubs and thanks to our links with the local community we now offer judo and Playball sessions.

The school's sporting motto is 'Play to win - lose with a grin'.
